What do you love most about your role?
"I love the mix of dealing with different products and people on a daily basis, you really get to use both sides of your brain.The buzz you get from seeing your creations on people walking down the street is unreal, and the fact we get to travel around the world finding inspiration is truly awesome."

Started as an IT Support Officer in 2009, now our Chief Information Officer.
What has been your greatest achievement while working for City Beach?
"Delivery of a successful VOIP project, that has not only seen a significant reduction in overall telecommunications costs for the business, but was recognised globally by the vendor as the best in class. This saw me travel to the annual Avaya user conference in the USA to collect the award for "Best Mid Market Innovation" on behalf of City Beach."

"No two days are alike at City Beach and I can honestly say that in my 13 years with the business I haven't been bored once! I am very fortunate that my role affords me the opportunity to collaborate with an amazing team to deliver continuous improvement and innovation across the business, while challenging my own skills and abilities, here at City Beach, the next big project is always just around the corner!."

"I started at City Beach as a freelance Graphic Designer. Not long after I started I got a full time job as a Digital Designer, creating content for the online store and social media channels. I am now the Art Director."

How did you get to where you are today?
"I started working for City Beach as a Casual Team Member in High school and continued working casually whilst I completed my degree in HR. After graduating I was offered the opportunity to gain experience in the HR department working casually and then was lucky enough to gain a permanent position. "

Tell us about your journey with City Beach?
"My journey with City Beach started after moving to North Queensland where I got the opportunity to develop my merchandising skills and I am now working as the Visual Merchandiser of the Flagship store."

Started as a Casual Team Member in 2007, now one of our Duty Managers.
What has been your greatest achievement while working for City Beach?
"One of my greatest achievements would be selling 12 pairs sunglasses for a sales incentive competition and winning a trip to Coachella. Another great achievement was making a $3500 + sale which included over 250 items."

Started as a Full Time Sales Assistant in 2001, now our Distribution Centre Manager.
How did you get to where you are today?
"I really enjoyed my role in Stock Control and I was interested in the processes that were undertaken behind the scenes, this lead me to the Distribution Centre. I was then given the opportunity to help manage the warehouse under the guidance the then DC Manager and was offered the role when she decided to take a step back."

Started in one of our first retail stores in 1994, now our Distribution Centre Supervisor
What has kept you working for City Beach for so long?
"I just enjoy what I am doing, the people that I work with and I love working for the Company. I been given some great opportunities with City Beach and I hope to use the knowledge that I have to keep growing within the business, learn new processes and advance my career within the Warehouse. I just love coming to work!"
